Local Reputation Management
The first impression you're not in the room for.
For most local businesses, a Google Business Profile is the first introduction potential customers will get of their business. It shows up before the website and often times long before they ever make it to your Instagram grid.
Local customers searching for a new hair salon, an attorney, or a quiet weekday lunch spot are looking at star ratings, reading the most recent reviews, and checking whether the hours and services match their needs before they ever click through.
We treat that first impression with the importance it carries. Each month, your profile gets the steady attention many owners struggle to carve out time for because they're pulled in 15 other directions. Posts and promotions will go up on a reliable schedule and reviews will get thoughtful responses, thoughtfully personalized to the content of the review and the reviewer.
Matching citations of your business's name, address, and phone number (NAP) across the web are highly weighted by Google when deciding which business to display in search results. We monitor those as well to ensure "suggested edits" from well-meaning customers or outdated information mined by listing databases across the web aren't quietly suppress you in search results.

What We Take Off Your Plate
- Google Business Profile maintenance (posts, photos, services, categories, hours, and Q&A)
- Thoughtful review responses on Google, written in your brand’s voice
- Citation monitoring so your name, address, and phone listings stay consistent
- A clear escalation path for any sensitive reviews that need your input first
- A monthly performance summary written in plain language, not jargon
- For businesses needing fuller coverage, the "Complete" tier extends the same care to two other reviews sites, like Yelp, Facebook, or Angie’s List.
How It Works
Most local business owners already know their Google profile influences whether new customers find them, choose them, and trust them. The frustration isn't awareness. It's the gap between knowing it matters and finding the time to keep up with it consistently.
That's the gap that Local Reputation Management closes.
First Month
We'll audit your current profile and make the necessary updates while also documenting your brand voice and review response preferences.
Ongoing
A reliable rhythm of posting, responding, monitoring, and reporting. On the 15th of each month, a short note arrives asking for any updates worth highlighting in the coming weeks. Every month you'll recieve a performance summary in your inbox, written in plain language to highlight what improved and needs attention.
Quarterly
We'll audit and build consistency on directory listings relevant to your industry, review sites, etc. to ensure your business's NAP (name/address/phone number) data and other essential details are uniform across the web.
When to outsource your gbp management
You Don't Just Fear Missing Out, You Know You Are
... but you can't find the time to fix what you know needs fixing. Your GBP looked great when it was set up two years ago, but your business has evolved. Since then the algorithm and best practices have changed, so you feel overwhelmed by the thought of having to research and implement everything correctly to even make the updates worth your time.
You Feel Guilty For Ghosting
You know that without your customers or clients you wouldn't have a business, but you're so busy giving awesome service on the front end and dealing with the tiny fires that pop up behind-the-scenes that you forget to respond (or sometimes even ask in the first place!)
Your Profile Is A Time Capsule
Customers have expressed frustration because the hours on your profile don't reflect when you're actually open. Or maybe you've renovated to better serve your customers, but your featured photos are from before the renovation. The last promotion you posted about was two years ago, so they assume you're not doing them anymore and don't even bother to ask, which leaves money on the table.
Local Reputation Management FAQ's
What happens to a negative review?
Anything below four stars, or anything that mentions a specific staff member, a safety issue, or a legal matter, gets escalated to you before any response is posted. We agree on the response together.
Will I see what's being posted on my profile ahead of time?
Yes! Everything is shared for your approval before it's published and your monthly summary recaps the month's activity.
Who handles the photos and graphics?
You can supply your own or we can pull from professional stock that fits your brand. Additionally, if you opt into the "Complete" tier, we can create custom graphics that match your branding, meaning updates become less reliant upon photos and pack an even bigger information & visual punch.
What's not included in the monthly fee?
A few things sit deliberately outside this service: social media content, recurring website edits and SEO work, paid ads or boosted posts.
Those are real needs, and we're happy to take them on at an hourly rate when they come up. They're just not folded into a flat monthly fee, because doing them well requires a different kind of attention.
What if I need something outside the package?
Sometimes you might have marketing tasks relevant to your GBP campaigns that will pop up. Whether it's a website tweak to match the Google Business profile, a campaign email written & designed, or a review request flyer to keep at your point of sale, we're happy to help!
Supplemental projects are charged at a rate of $95/hour, billed in fifteen-minute increments. No package upgrade pressure, just extra help and a quick turnaround time when you need it.
What kind of access do you need to manage this work?
We need Manager-level access to your Google Business Profile, and for Complete tier clients, any other review site accounts. Manager-level access is the standard permission set for agencies. Typically, it allows posting, responding, and updating profile information without giving us ownership, billing rights, or the ability to remove anyone else from your account.
Everything we do with your access is spelled out in writing at the start of our engagement, and visible to you anytime in a shared folder you keep permanent access to. A few specifics:
- We post content, respond to reviews, and update profile information only when it's been approved by you or falls within the brand voice and response framework we've built together.
- We never make changes to ownership, billing, or anything that affects who controls the account.
- You can revoke access at any time, and removing us has no effect on your business profile. The steps for removing access are documented in your onboarding folder.
We understand what it feels like to be asked for that kind of access early in a relationship. The protocols we follow are the same ones we'd want from anyone working on our own profile. Everything is documented. Nothing is hidden behind a login only we can see. And the access can be revoked the moment it stops feeling right, with no impact on the business profile we've helped you build.
Can I cancel after three months?
While we hope to keep managing your profile long term, we understand that things change. You are welcome to cancel or opt-in for month-to-month payments after the intial term. Some clients choose the six-month option for the rate adjustment. All of the work performed until then stays yours either way.
